Class of 2024 Graduation
Brooklyn Center Community Schools is excited to celebrate the Class of 2024 Commencement Ceremony on Friday, June 7, 2024. This will be a shared ceremony including all students who are eligible to graduate from Brooklyn Center Secondary, the Early College Academy, and Insight Online School of Minnesota.
Tickets are required to attend this event at the Brooklyn Center Heritage Center. A livestream link will also be posted to our website on the day of the event for families, friends, and community members who do not have tickets so all can celebrate with us virtually!

- 1:15pm - All graduates are invited to Brooklyn Center Heritage Center for a Commencement Ceremony rehearsal.
- 1:30 - 3:00pm - Commencement Ceremony rehearsal in the main hall
- 4:45 - 5:00pm - All graduates return to the Brooklyn Center Heritage Center.
- 5:15pm - Doors will open to visitors. Families will follow signage from the parking lot to the entrance doors and present their online tickets to a staff member.
- 6:00pm - Commencement Ceremony begins.
- 6:30pm - Entrance doors will lock. No additional guests will be able to enter after 6:30pm, regardless of tickets.
Online Ticket Information

Every graduate will receive four online tickets for family members to attend with the option to secure an additional ticket through a lottery drawing.

Starting on Monday, June 3 at 12pm, tickets will be released through our mobile ticketing software (GoFan) and students will be able to claim their online tickets and share with their selected guests.

Students will be asked to claim and share their online tickets with their guests sometime between Monday, June 3 at 12pm and Friday, June 7 at 3pm. Tickets can be shared through the GoFan app or through a valid email address.

Entrance Information

All guests must present their online ticket upon entry.

All guests should have received their online ticket from their student ahead of time. BCCS staff will be available for technology support if you need assistance accessing your online ticket.

Entrance doors will lock at 6:30pm. No additional guests will be able to enter after 6:30pm, regardless of tickets.
Ceremony Details

No food or beverage is allowed in the event center.

Families are welcomed and encouraged to bring balloons or signs to the ceremony. You will be asked to store your balloons in the lobby so as to not obstruct other guests’ view or loose balloons to the ceiling.

We ask that all guests remain quiet during the reading of the graduate names so all guests can hear the names being read.
Diploma Pick Up

Graduates will walk across the stage during the ceremony and receive their diploma holder. After the ceremony concludes, graduates will be ushered to the staging area to pick up their personalized diplomas. Diplomas will be arranged by school site and alphabetized by last name. Graduates should find their last name letter line and will be handed their personalized diploma by a staff member.
Parking at The Brooklyn Center Heritage Center

The Brooklyn Center Heritage Center has ample free parking for families. If all the spots in the main parking lot are filled, you will find additional overflow parking across the street. Signage will be posted to assist with navigating the parking lot.
Livestream & Secondary Viewing Location

CCX Media will be live streaming our ceremony. The livestream link will be posted to our website on the day of the event for families and friends to view.

BCCS will also offer a livestream viewing at the BCS Auditorium during the ceremony. Families, friends, community members without digital tickets are welcome to attend this viewing opportunity.
CLASS OF 2024 SENIOR PARADE: MONDAY, JUNE 3, 2024

Graduating seniors are invited to attend the annual senior parade on Monday, June 3 at Brooklyn Center Elementary School. Bus transportation will be provided for students to and from Brooklyn Center Elementary by 1:15pm.

This event is closed to the public and meant for students and staff to celebrate our seniors. Photos of the event will be taken and shared with our community!
