Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremonies

BCCS is excited to celebrate the Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremonies on Friday, June 5, 2026!

This year, BCCS will host two ceremonies! Graduates from Early College Academy and Insight Online School of Minnesota will have their in-person commencement ceremony at 3:30pm. Graduates from Brooklyn Center High School will have their in-person ceremony at 6:00pm. Tickets are required to attend these events at the Brooklyn Center Heritage Center.

ECA & ISMN commencement ceremony

Friday, June 5, 2026 at 3:30pm

1:00-1:30pm - All ECA/ISMN graduates are invited to Brooklyn Center Heritage Center for a Commencement Ceremony rehearsal
1:30-2:30pm - Commencement Ceremony rehearsal in the main hall
3:00pm - Doors will open to visitors. Families will follow signage from the parking lot to the entrance doors and present their wristbands to a staff member.
3:30pm - ECA/ISMN Commencement Ceremony begins
3:50pm - Entrance doors will lock. No additional guests will be able to enter the ECA/ISMN ceremony after 3:50pm, regardless of wristbands.

Brooklyn Center high school commencement ceremony

Friday, June 5, 2026 at 6:00pm

10:00am - All BCHS graduates are invited to Brooklyn Center Heritage Center for a Commencement Ceremony rehearsal
10:00-11:00am - Commencement Ceremony rehearsal in the main hall
5:30pm - Doors will open to visitors. Families will follow signage from the parking lot to the entrance doors and present their wristbands to a staff member.
6:00pm - BCHS Commencement Ceremony begins
6:20pm - Entrance doors will lock. No additional guests will be able to enter the BCHS ceremony after 6:20pm, regardless of tickets or wristbands.

Commencement Details

Ticket/Wristband Information

Every graduate will receive a set number of tickets for family members to attend with the option to secure an additional tickets through a lottery drawing. Tickets per graduate will be based on number of graduates and available seating. Last year, ECA & ISMN graduates received up to 10 tickets and BCHS graduates received 7 tickets. Official ticket numbers will be communicated with graduates and their families in May of 2026.

Tickets will be presented at the door by showing your wristband. Wristbands will be available for seniors to pick up the week of graduation. Seniors will then be able to hand out to their selected family/friends who will be attending the ceremony.

Heritage Center Address & Entrance Information

The Brooklyn Center Heritage Center is located at 6155 Earle Brown Dr, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.

All guests must wear their wristband at all times while they are in the facility. Staff members will scan the barcode on your wristband upon entry.
All guests should have received their wristband from their student ahead of time. BCCS staff will be available at the entrance to assist as needed.
Guests with unbroken wristbands may leave the ceremony and re-enter as needed prior to doors closed.
Entrance doors will lock at 3:50pm and 6:20pm.
- No additional guests will be able to enter the ceremony after doors have locked, regardless of tickets.
- Guests who exit the Heritage Center for any reason during the ceremony will not be allowed back in after entrance doors lock at 3:50pm and 6:20pm.

Brooklyn Center Community Schools is hosting two commencement ceremonies, one for BCHS graduates and one for ECA/Insight graduates, to ensure our families and friends can attend the ceremonies and celebrate our graduates.

No food or beverage is allowed in the event center.
Balloons are not allowed in the Brooklyn Center Heritage Center.
We ask that all guests remain quiet during the reading of the graduate names so all guests can hear the names being read.
