Updated Schedule: Open House 2024

Open House is a day were students and families are invited to visit their sites to meet their teachers, explore the buildings, access resources, and get to know us! Here are the details:

  • Monday, August 26 (11:30am - 7:30pm) at BCE & BCS
     
  • Tuesday, September 3 (8:00am - 3:00 pm) at ECA

First Days of School 

  • Orientation Day (first day of school for grades PreK, K, 6, 9): Tuesday, September 3
     
  • First Day of School (for grades 1-5, 7-8, 10-12): Wednesday, September 4

5910 Shingle Creek Parkway, Door #9

Do you have a child that will be 5 years old by September 1, 2026? Then you are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten and are invited to attend our Kindergarten Enrollment Night on Thursday, January 15. This night is specifically designed for you and your family to attend to submit your enrollment paperwork and get officially registered for Kindergarten next fall. Here are our event details:

 

  • Date: Thursday, January 15, 2026

  • Time: 4-7pm (This event is an Open House so come whenever you can.)

  • Location: Welcome & Enrollment Center

  • Address: 5910 Shingle Creek Parkway, Door #9, Brooklyn Center (look for the balloons!)

  • Estimated Time to Complete Enrollment Paperwork: 15-20 minutes

  • Event Details: An enrollment staff member will sit with you and assist you in completing your enrollment paperwork. We will have Spanish speakers available to assist families as needed.

  • Items to Bring: Families should bring the child’s birth certificate, current immunization records, and a proof of address of the child’s parent or guardian

  • Food & Games: Snacks for the family and games for little children will be available during this event. 

 

You do not need to RSVP to attend this event but you are welcome to bring the whole family to complete your Kindergarten enrollment paperwork, get your questions answered, and have some fun. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at 763-272-8365 or enrollment@bccs286.org.
