BCCS celebrates Indigenous Peoples’ Month 2025

November is Indigenous Peoples’ Month. Also referred to as Native American Heritage Month, we take this time to honor the rich cultures and resilience of Native people here in the United States and beyond. Celebrate this month with us at our event on Friday, Nov. 21 at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.


Family Field Trip Information

  • Date: Friday, November 21, 2025
  • Transportation Provided by BCCS: Meet at Brooklyn Center Middle and High School (6500 Humboldt Ave S). Buses will board from 4:30 - 4:45pm. We will be leaving promptly at 5pm.
  • Return Time: We expect to back to Brooklyn Center Middle and High School around 8:00pm
  • RSVPs have closed and this event is full.


Exhibit Information

  • Dyani White Hawk: Love Language
  • Rooted in intergenerational knowledge, Dyani White Hawk’s (Sičáŋǧu Lakota, b. 1976) art centers on connection—between one another, past and present, earth and sky.
